As part of the Singapore Government’s efforts to develop local talent for Singapore’s key economic and social sectors, the Government partnered with reputable organisations to launch the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) for aspiring young citizens in 2012.

Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS)

The SgIS Full-Term Programme is tenable for students pursuing undergraduate studies locally at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

The SgIS Mid-Term Programme is tenable for students who are currently pursuing their full-time undergraduate studies locally and overseas, and have not embarked on their final year of study at the point of application.

In 2013, Boustead Singapore Limited (including Boustead Projects) was specially selected as one of 39 participating organisations in SgIS to offer scholarships to Singaporean students. Boustead Projects will be offering scholarships in:

Business Division Expertise
Design-and-Build Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering)
Real Estate Bachelor of Science (Real Estate)
Successful scholarship candidates can look forward to tailored career development programmes including:
  • Internship opportunities
  • Management development programmes
  • Rotation opportunities
  • Personal and professional growth
  • Mentorship by senior leaders in the industry
Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants should be Singapore Citizens.
  • Applicants should possess good GCE A-Level (at least 10 academic units), International Baccalaureate (IB) or Polytechnic Diploma results or the equivalent.
